The Gym Bro Calculator uses the Wilks Score, a mathematical formula created
by Robert Wilks, CEO of Powerlifting Australia. It measures a powerlifter's strength
relative to lifters in different weight classes, allowing comparison regardless of weight or gender.

The calculator also applies the McCulloch Coefficient, which adjusts strength scores
based on age. Traditionally it only affects lifters 40+, but here it has been modified so
every year away from peak strength age (25) adjusts your score slightly.

Score Standards:
<100 : Non-lifter
100-200 : Beginner
200-300 : Intermediate
300-400 : Advanced
400+ : Elite
(Please note these are rough estimates and not official.)
You must maximize your powerlifting total (your max bench, squat, and deadlift)
while minimizing your body weight.
It’s ideal to score yourself during a cut since lower body weight improves
your score — especially if you maintain the same lifts you had while bulking.
